Meet Jessica

 

Jessica Nicole Matos is a a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) and a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (IMHC) and with a Master's of Science Degree in Psychology and Art Therapy from Florida State University.  She utilizes her knowledge, tools, and skills as a mental health professional to enhance the wellbeing of individuals through a dynamic therapeutic process within the realm of art and psychotherapy. Within her expertise in the field, she provides optimal client-centered counseling services through a focus-oriented and solution-based therapeutic approach.  Jessica has always been drawn to help others in need based off personal and professional experiences, and she has strong dedication and compassion to be of service. Jessica has worked with a wide variety of children, adolescents, and adults within numerous clinical settings and diverse populations, each with unique needs, desires, and goals for therapy. She believes that amongst all her clients she has seen in the past, there is generally one common shared pursuit, which was primarily to ease the emotional pain and suffering, yet above all, to believe in themselves and regain control of their life.  Jessica helps guide and support her clients on a meaningful path toward personal growth and discovery. She would be honored to support you through your healing process.  She comes from a multicultural background, both Puerto Rico and Sweden, and has lived in numerous countries around the world.
